But I hate moving - all that back and forth, all that heavy lifting, all that cleaning of a place that never gets clean - although with all the lugging and hauling we had to do, I'm pretty sure I could beat everyone at arm wrestling now. Bring it on!
I like our new house. It's bigger, with a basement where we can go and watch TV and not have to turn it off when guests drop by, wooden floors that are easier to clean up when our senile dog has... *cough*... her bladder control issues, real tile that doesn't scuff and split when you walk on it, and a mold-free bathroom.
Yeah, definitely don't miss the old house (which we're pretty sure attempted to kill us with mold and dust allergies.)
I've also started on my next book, one that hopefully I will complete and be happy about. With my last two attempted novels, one stalled and the other... well, I finished it, and ended up really disliking it. That... that's never happened to me before! But it oughtta learn me not to rush things. Loved the plot of that story, but the story's environment, culture, characters, etc. need a major overhaul.
Almost had a job, but didn't pass training. Oh well, at least I got paid for it, all a good thing. Part of the money was needed to help in the down payment for the house, while failing the training portion freed me up to help in the move. That's the thing about life - what seems like a negative can turn out to be a positive and, really, I'm not too upset about not getting the job. A little sad since it was perfect for me, but I'd tried my hardest and it simply wasn't meant to be.

I'M NOT DEAD!!!!!
*words echo into the silence and disappear, after awhile*
Although, apparently whatever I had was contagious.
Oh, and you left this on my doorstep... *drags Mel's frozen corpse back, with a few added fishhooks stuck in it*

Yeah, nah.
I'm not dead as well though there was a recent assassination attempt by my allergies. Stupid weather/pollen.

Sam: Never? You're never afraid?
Dean: No, not really.
(Sam pulls a long knife out from under Dean's pillow)
Dean: That's not fear. That's precaution.
Sam: Alright, whatever. I'm too tired to argue.
You got me into My Chemical Romance. Thanks a lot! Gosh! Their songs are giving me story ideas.
